National Latinx Social Work Immigrant Summit 2025
at the University of Illinois-Chicago
June 5-6, 2025

Join us as Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez delivers a special message to all social workers and allies attending the 2025 Summit. We are truly honored to have her support and commitment to our shared mission. Her words will inspire and empower us as we come together to make a difference in our communities.

Dr. Alejandra Acuña will be presenting and highlighting her new book. Dr. Acuna will have a signing of her new book:
Stones, Flowers, and Lessons Learned is a healing-centered book that blends personal storytelling, cultural wisdom, and mental health tools. It’s designed for readers navigating identity, purpose, grief, and growth. With reflection prompts, grounding practices, and community wisdom, the book supports readers in reconnecting with their voice, power, and path. The accompanying workbook guides readers, step by step, toward clarity, connection, and their heart’s desires.
